You leave the unconscious plushie to go check on the panel. It's the security panel for the first floor. The cyan text "ACTIVE" means that if someone tries to break in or a stranger with malicious intent is on the first floor, they will be magnetically bound and stuck to a surface in the room until law enforcement arrive. That or until you scare them off with a metal bat. Often invaders ditch their clothes and other stuck items to escape the security system (or you). The left-behind items you often have sold for some extra money.
